Educational Background
Demetria Echols is a Certified Educational Diagnostician with over fifteen years of experience in education, having served as a Special Education Teacher, Science Teacher, and Educational Diagnostician. Her passion for student assessment led her to earn a master’s degree in Educational Diagnostician from West Texas A&M University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.

Demetria brings a well-rounded, classroom-informed perspective to every evaluation, helping families not only understand a diagnosis but also how it truly impacts their child’s learning experience. Her firsthand experience supporting students with a wide range of needs—including learning disabilities, behavioral challenges, and intellectual differences—gives her a deep understanding of what effective classroom support looks like in practice.

As the founder of Insight Testing and Consult LLC, Demetria works directly with families to provide private, high-quality evaluations and consultations focused on understanding Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and the overall evaluation process. Her mission is to bridge the gap between testing and teaching by delivering clear, actionable results that empower parents with the tools and knowledge they need to champion for their child confidently.
